How Sleeple evaluates products

A useful recommendation should state what was actually verified. Sleeple consistently separates hands-on testing, documentary analysis, scientific evidence and manufacturer claims.

Independence principle.

1

Hands-on testing

We only write “tested by Sleeple” when a product has genuinely been handled and used by the team under a described protocol. Otherwise we never imply that a hands-on test occurred.

2

Documentary review

We verify relevant specifications in manufacturer or retailer documentation: dimensions, materials, battery life, subscriptions, care, warranty and returns. Marketing copy is not treated as proof of efficacy.

3

Scientific evidence

When a product claims an effect on sleep, we look for relevant studies and guidance. Evidence about a product category is kept separate from evidence validating an exact model.

4

Commercial data

Prices, availability, warranties, trials, returns and subscriptions can change. We date these details when they matter and avoid presenting a price as permanent.

What “best” means on Sleeple

We avoid universal rankings when the right choice depends on the user. A product may better suit side sleepers, travel, hot sleepers or sports recovery without being “best” for everyone. Comparison criteria should therefore be stated before products are presented.
